Two going on three

Unfortunately, in July of 2020 we received the news that my father was terminally ill. After excepting the fact that my father would not be celebrate Christmas, my fiancé and I decided to move our wedding to that coming September. After about a month of planning my father's health had declined significantly and he was no longer able to attend the wedding. On top of that covid hit an all time high and the city of Ottawa went into a severe lock down a week our wedding. Meaning the catering company and tent rentals that we had set up were not able to provide for our special day. Fortunately for us we have a group of amazing friends and with four days notice they were able to whip up an outdoor wedding at a public park. Although my father could not attend he was able to watch through video chat. Looking back at it I wouldn't have changed a thing. We had a beautiful ceremony and ate great food at a delicious restaurant downtown. But that's not all... About 2 weeks before the wedding I found out that I was pregnant with baby number two!! Matthew and I are very excited to announce that we will be expecting a baby girl April 2021! So even though everything seemed to be going crazy and life seemed uncertain we did have this one thing to hold onto. We could not be more excited to meet our baby girl.
